The addition of their cover of Mississippi Queen by the band Mountain was decided upon during the recording process. The band entered Vision Sound Studios in Jacksonville, FL during the summer of 2005 with 14 songs ready to be recorded.

Refusing to conform to standards such as image and song length, Indorphine decided to record their second full length album without the assistance of a record label. Record labels began taking notice of the industry buzz about the band, and Indorphine was placed on stage in front of A&R reps in New York, Atlanta, Austin, and Los Angeles.

Their sound evolved from the adolescence of their debut album to that of a more matured band who'd found their voice oddball metal injected with sarcastic, and sometimes self deprecating, comedy. The band began rigorously playing locally and regionally, writing new material during downtime. After Dan Stewart was relieved of his duties due to private reasons, bassist and vocalist, and Indiana native, Tanner Keegan took a chance leaving the very popular Orlando band Milka to explore his options with the experimental Indorphine completing their classic lineup. Adam obliged and parted ways with his previous band to explore this new opportunity. He began following the band from show to show and became their guitar tech until Indorphine heard his extensive talent and offered to make him an official member just before the release of their debut record. Phillips became one of Indorphine’s earliest diehard local fans. Indorphine met Adam Phillips, another New Yorker and guitar virtuoso, when their respective bands played a benefit show for the late Chuck Schuldiner. After performing locally for several months, the band entered Crush Studios to record their first full length album entitled 12 Lbs. The first Indorphine concert occurred on May 5th, 2001 at Midtown Tavern in Orlando, FL. Dan contributed several songs to the band which provided them with enough material to begin playing live. Local bassist and songwriter Dan Stewart entered the picture, and the band was then ready to begin forging ahead. An experienced guitar player from Syracuse, NY, Fischel was welcomed into the band and their lineup was nearly complete. One day however a neighbor from across the street, interested instead of disgusted in the odd noises resonating daily, introduced himself as Buddy Fischel to the already named duo Indorphine with an interest in joining forces. Walker died at his home in Draper Utah on July 8, 2013, at the age of 51.Like many influential grassroots bands before them, Indorphine began in the garage of lead singer Jimmy Grant as he, and high school friend and drummer Everett Sailor, annoyed their Kissimmee neighbors with their loud and abstract music. Walker's latest album, Straight Jacket Vacation, produced by Walker and Weston Hodges, released through AOR Heaven in August 2013. Nevertheless, was again released in 2012 on Dive Bomb Records. The CD was released on Empire Records in Europe and Japan, and reached the top-40 national sales charts in Scandinavia.

David Prater produced four songs from the CD, the rest was produced by Walker or co-written and produced by Jonathan Cain. Walker's first solo record, Nevertheless, released in 1994, launching his solo career in Europe. The Alias CD earned platinum sales throughout the world, and the song "Waiting for Love" received a BMI Award for top radio airplay that year. In 1991, Walker co-wrote the song "Waiting for Love" for the band Alias on EMI Capitol Records, and it went on to become Walker's first top-10 international hit. At the age of 21, he moved to Los Angeles, California, where he worked as a songwriter and collaborated with a number of artists and songwriters, including Survivor, Nick Gilder, Jonathan Cain (Journey), Russ Ballard, Carl Dixon and Alias featuring Freddy Curci. Walker was born in Norman, Oklahoma, United States.

As singer-songwriter, musician, and publisher Walker's music was heard on over 300 network television shows, including One Life to Live, All My Children, The Young and the Restless, One Tree Hill, Felicity, CSI: Miami, All Grown Up!, Everwood, Malcolm in the Middle, Baywatch, and Sex and the City, National Lampoon's Barely Legal.
